What a class looks like
Each 2-hour session follows a scaffolded social narrative structure. Children engage in guided play activities designed to initiate peer interactions, practice negotiation language such as 'Can I have a turn?', and respond to classroom commands. The small group of 4 children ensures every child receives high clinical dosage and personalised attention from the senior speech therapist.

Curriculum & Progression
Structured curriculum
Evidence-based speech and language therapy using Hanen It Takes Two to Talk strategies, Dialogic Reading, and scaffolded social narratives. The curriculum is split into two linked phases: Discovery (initiating interactions, parallel-to-cooperative play) and Extension (negotiation language, classroom commands, collaborative play).
Learning Outcomes
Confidence in social communication, ability to initiate peer interactions, use of negotiation language, understanding of classroom commands, transition from solo play to collaborative play, and readiness for preschool group settings.
About
A specialised summer camp designed to bridge the gap between being a 'toddler talker' and a confident 'preschool communicator'. This 10-day intensive speech and language therapy programme uses Hanen It Takes Two to Talk strategies and Dialogic Reading in a small-group setting to help children aged 2.5–4 years build the confidence to initiate interactions, use negotiation language, and collaborate in play. Children may join for one or both parts of this linked curriculum.
Before your first class
Arrive 5–10 minutes early to help your child settle. The camp is designed as a gentle transition, so consistency across both weeks is encouraged for maximum benefit.
