What a class looks like
Kindergarten classes are playful, with songs, circle time, flash cards and pencil time. Primary students who have mastered speaking and listening move on to reading and writing practice, while advanced students work on reading comprehension, grammar and creative writing techniques. Secondary students preparing for exams focus on test-taking skills.
Right for your child?
Suits children from kindergarten to secondary level, including international-school students who want a Chinese-focused environment, from complete beginners through to exam preparation. Small groups and individualised attention make it a good fit for children who learn best with plenty of teacher support.
Max 5 per class
Curriculum & Progression
Semi-structured (flexible framework)
A balance of traditional and modern methods, adapted to each level. Foundation students learn elementary oral, listening, character recognition and stroke-order writing; kindergarteners learn through songs and play; primary students develop reading and writing; advanced and secondary students work on comprehension, grammar, creative writing and exam skills (including IB, AP and IGCSE). Simplified or Traditional characters are taught according to each student's needs.
Learning Outcomes
Students build a solid foundation in speaking, listening, reading and writing Chinese, then progress to stronger reading comprehension, grammar and creative writing. Older students gain exam skills for IB, AP and IGCSE Chinese.
Multiple levels (e.g. Beginner → Advanced)
