What a class looks like
Junior campers start the morning with theme-based Putonghua learning around Christmas and winter, practising speaking, listening, reading and writing. The afternoon rotates daily through PTH art, mini STEM, Chinese or Western cooking, Chinese painting, a filmed performance, or a Christmas party with games. Senior campers spend their sessions on intensive Chinese practice, covering reading comprehension, grammar and creative writing, with a short mini STEM or art activity and a lunch break.

Right for your child?
A good fit for children who want to build Putonghua confidence in a fully immersive, fun setting, from kindergarten beginners to older students working on reading comprehension and writing. Junior and Senior camps are tailored separately to each age group.
Curriculum & Progression
Themed units (rotating)
Morning Chinese learning follows a Christmas and winter theme, with content matched to each child's level: vocabulary, basic writing, conversation and reading for kindergarten and lower primary; reading comprehension, grammar, creative writing and presentation skills for upper primary and secondary. Junior afternoons rotate through a set daily activity schedule. Optional add-ons: a Shenzhen ski/snowboard lesson on 29 Dec (lesson and ski pass, +HK$1,000) and a free Hong Kong Palace Museum and West Kowloon Waterfront outing on the morning of 31 Dec for children enrolled in two full days.
Learning Outcomes
Children strengthen their Putonghua speaking, listening, reading and writing in an immersive environment, while older students build reading comprehension, grammar and creative writing skills. Creative and hands-on activities add confidence in using Chinese in everyday, real-life settings.
Multiple levels (e.g. Beginner → Advanced)
