What a class looks like

Each morning mixes hands-on sensory invitations, such as smelling and handling cinnamon, citrus, pine and herbs, with making and process art. Children also move to seasonal music, enjoy Christmas stories and yoga, and finish with reflective time around giving, gratitude and kindness.

A Christmas theme explored through the five senses, combining sensory play, process art, nature-based making, music, stories and yoga in a child-led, playful way.

Children build sensory awareness and creativity, and practise gratitude, kindness and generosity through making something for someone else.

About

A three-morning Christmas camp where children explore the season through the five senses: smell, touch, sound, sight and taste. They'll work with cinnamon, citrus, pine, herbs and natural materials to make wreaths and decorations, try festive process art, and enjoy seasonal music, stories and yoga. There's also time to explore giving, gratitude and kindness, including making something meaningful for someone else.

Before your first class

Dress children in clothes that can get messy, as there will be art and natural materials. Let the team know about any allergies, as the sessions involve spices and citrus.
