What a class looks like

Sessions open with safe body preparation, stretching and flexibility work, then move into level-appropriate body technique — from foundation skills and basic acrobatics for younger children to refined technique and multiple-apparatus routines for advanced gymnasts — with apparatus manipulation such as rope, ribbon, ball, hoop and clubs, building towards performance-ready routines.

Right for your child?

Open to all levels from age 3 to 12; no experience needed for the Starter/Beginner level. Children are placed and promoted by coach assessment and readiness rather than age alone, and all students take part in an end-of-semester Showcase Class assessment.

Max 10 per class

Curriculum & Progression

Structured curriculum

A unique, structured and results-oriented curriculum. Each main level has three sub-levels so children progress gradually; placement and promotion are based on coach assessment and readiness rather than age alone.

Learning Outcomes

Children develop flexibility, strength, coordination and body technique, progressing from basic apparatus handling to multiple-apparatus mastery and competition/performance routines, alongside discipline, confidence and resilience.

Multiple levels (e.g. Beginner → Advanced)

About

Weekly Rhythmic Gymnastics classes for children aged 3–12, combining elements of ballet, gymnastics, dance and apparatus work (rope, ribbon, ball, hoop and clubs). Three levels are offered — Starter/Beginner (3–4, 1 hour), Intermediate (4–6, 1.5 hours) and Advanced (6–12, 1.5 hours) — progressing from foundation skills and basic apparatus to intensive training, multiple apparatus and competition routines. Classes are capped at 10 children for individual attention, and placement is by coach assessment rather than age alone.

Before your first class

Arrive with hair already in a tight high bun (ponytails are not allowed) and bring a water bottle. Wear the academy uniform for your level. New students should attend a trial class so the coach can recommend the right level.

What to bring

Level-appropriate academy uniform and kit. Starter/Beginner: top, shorts, long-sleeve, leggings, skipping rope, hair kit, diary and bag. Intermediate/Advanced add ribbon & stick, ribbon roll, ball, half shoes, knee pads, stretching band (Advanced also a hoop). Hair styled in a tight high bun; bring a water bottle.
