What a class looks like

Each stage introduces new phonics blends and a positive character theme. On Mondays children focus on English through games, role-play and small-group practice; on Thursdays they work on emotion recognition, self-control, cooperation and other SEL skills through situational activities.

Curriculum & Progression

Structured curriculum

A structured 33-week curriculum organised into seven colour-coded stages (Kindness, Sharing, Self-control, Cooperation, Honesty, Bravery, Gratitude), each with three learning focuses covering letter sounds, phonics consolidation and a character/activity theme.

Learning Outcomes

Phonics and blending, spelling, English listening and expression, emotional awareness and management, social communication, cooperation and growing confidence.

About

A 33-week programme built on a seven-colour, seven-stage framework that integrates English phonics (letter sounds, blending and reading) with positive character traits and social-emotional learning. It can be taken as a single subject or as both: the Monday stream focuses on English, the Thursday stream focuses on emotion/SEL, and enrolling in both (the combined enhancement option) unlocks a reduced per-lesson rate. Through English games, role-play, situational practice and small-group activities, children build phonics, spelling, expression, emotional management, social communication and confidence, all led by Ms. Vivien.
