TRIAL - Korean Ballet - Basic 1 (Ages 7-10)

A typical Vaganova ballet class always begins with a quick warming up on mats, stretching ourselves from the head, to the shoulders, then our waist and ankles, and finally our legs. Young dancers are encouraged to embrace their bodies through a moderate amount of fun moves before they move on to stand in front of the barre getting used to the different positions. Following barre, young dancers would have a chance to feel the center, and going across the floor to learn how energies flow through quick music in dance, at the same time closing the class on this playful note with révérence, saying goodbye to the teacher.

👨‍👩‍👧Parents are allowed to stay and watch outside of the classroom.

Children who have a natural tendency to move around and enjoy music would find this Basic 1 class delightful with a suitable amount of physical stimulations.
