What a class looks like
The class opens with an arrival and grounding activity to settle children in, moves into an artistic exploration segment where children paint, draw or craft to express their feelings, and closes with a reflection and closure period to talk about what came up.

Curriculum & Progression
Semi-structured (flexible framework)
Each session follows a three-part structure (arrival and grounding, artistic exploration, reflection and closure), using art-making as the main tool for emotional learning rather than a fixed skills syllabus.
Learning Outcomes
Children learn to name and recognise emotions, express feelings through art, practise simple calming techniques, build empathy and listening skills, and grow in confidence.
