What a class looks like
Students explore drawing through guided exercises, creative projects, and a variety of artistic mediums. They develop observation, technique, precision, and confidence while discovering their own creative style and learning to express their ideas through art.

Suitable for students of all levels, from beginners to those with some previous drawing experience. Students will be guided according to their individual abilities and encouraged to develop at their own pace.

Curriculum & Progression
Themed units (rotating)
Each session focuses on different textile techniques including wearable art, sewing, tie-dye, print and patterns, and crochet. Led by teaching artist Carmen Wong, the curriculum emphasizes emotional expression through creative making.
Learning Outcomes
Textile art skills, emotional expression, creativity, fine motor skills, and self-confidence through wearable art and soft sculpture projects.

Drawing Studio Space for Observation, Imagination & Creative Expression • Introduction to Techniques: Explore essential drawing skills, including line, shading, blending, proportion, and composition. • Creative Projects: Develop observation and visual thinking through engaging, guided drawing exercises and creative projects. • Exploration of Mediums: Experiment with a variety of materials, including pencils, fineliners, watercolours, and more. • Personal Expression & Skill Development: Young artists create their own original pieces while developing precision, focus, confidence, and their individual artistic style.
