What a class looks like
Children work on textile projects such as wearable art, sewing, tie-dye, print and patterns, or crochet. Led by teaching artist Carmen Wong in a relaxed, creative space that encourages emotional expression and connection through hands-on making.

Curriculum & Progression
Themed units (rotating)
Each session focuses on different textile techniques including wearable art, sewing, tie-dye, print and patterns, and crochet. Led by teaching artist Carmen Wong, the curriculum emphasizes emotional expression through creative making.
Learning Outcomes
Textile art skills, emotional expression, creativity, fine motor skills, and self-confidence through wearable art and soft sculpture projects.

About
A creative space where children and teens turn their feelings into wearable art, soft sculptures, and one-of-a-kind creations. Led by warm, trained facilitator and teaching artist Carmen Wong, each session offers a relaxed environment for kids to express themselves and connect through textile arts. Activities include wearable art, sewing, tie-dye, print and patterns, and crochet into form.
