What a class looks like
Live piano sets the pulse as children walk, run, trot and skip, stopping and starting when the music changes. Activities explore fast and slow, long and short, and strong and gentle, with games that build reaction, coordination and self-control. Children also try improvising their own movement to the music.
Right for your child?
Suits children who have completed Level 1 or are ready to go further in listening, coordination and musical expression, at around 3.5–4.5 years old.

Curriculum & Progression
Semi-structured (flexible framework)
Builds on Level 1 by moving from 'knowing a concept' to hearing it, feeling it and responding to it instantly with the body. Topics include walk/run/trot/skip, start and stop, fast and slow, long and short, strong and gentle, beat and rest, musical phrases, articulation, reaction, inhibition, coordination and improvisation.

Respond instantly to musical change; feel rhythm, tempo and articulation; build coordination and inhibition; express music through improvisation; deepen listening and musical awareness.
Multiple levels (e.g. Beginner → Advanced)
About
Eurhythmics is the next step after Level 1. Using live piano, movement activities and improvisation, children experience pulse, tempo, articulation, phrasing and rhythm in real time, and learn to listen, react and express music physically. Each course runs for 10 lessons of 45 minutes.
Before your first class
Dress your child in comfortable clothes they can move freely in, and arrive a few minutes early to settle in.
