What a class looks like
Children explore a steady beat through movement, singing and Rainbow Bells. Musical games build up ideas such as high and low, fast and slow, and loud and soft, with plenty of listening and responding along the way. Over the course, children get more confident joining in independently.
Right for your child?
Ideal as a first step into music for toddlers aged around 2.5–3.5. No prior musical experience is needed. If unsure which level fits, share your child's age and experience and the team will recommend a starting point.

Curriculum & Progression
Structured curriculum
A 10-lesson course covering steady beat, crotchet and rest, high and low, fast and slow, loud and soft, Solfège, singing, Rainbow Bells, musical signals, line and space, listening and response, and classroom independence. After Level 1, children can move on to Eurhythmics, Piano Foundation or London College of Music early childhood exam preparation.
Learning Outcomes
Follow a steady beat; recognise basic musical changes; respond to music through the body; understand simple rhythm concepts; sing and play simple melodies; take part in class more independently.

About
Level 1 is a toddler's first structured step into music. Through movement, rhythm, singing, listening, Rainbow Bells and musical games, children learn to understand music with their ears and bodies before being asked to read it formally. Each course runs for 10 lessons of 45 minutes.
Before your first class
Arrive a few minutes early so your child can settle in, and dress them in comfortable clothes that are easy to move in.
