What a class looks like
Children learn about a different art movement or famous artist each session, then create their own artwork inspired by that style. Activities are structured with a focus on developing basic art skills, using color and shape to express feelings, and exploring art history.

Curriculum & Progression
Themed units (rotating)
Each session explores a different art movement or famous artist, with children creating their own work inspired by that style. The curriculum covers art as a reflection of time and place, and the evolution of art techniques and materials.

About
A comprehensive series of enriching art courses designed as a unique journey exploring different facets of art and self-expression. Children delve into art history, learning about different art movements like Impressionism, Cubism, and Abstract Expressionism, and create their own artwork inspired by famous artists. They develop basic art skills and techniques using various materials including paper, fabric, paint, ink, clay, oil and chalk pastels, charcoal, collage materials, photography, digital media, markers, and watercolor.
