What a class looks like
Children explore mixed media techniques through hands-on projects, experimenting with collage, sculpture, printmaking, and texture creation. Sessions are guided by trained facilitators in a relaxed, creative environment where each child can express themselves freely.

Curriculum & Progression
Themed units (rotating)
Each week features a new theme and activity, with children exploring different mixed media techniques and materials. The curriculum covers layering collage, assemblage, sculpture, printmaking, stenciling, texturing, resist techniques, and digital components.

Creative thinking, problem-solving, self-expression, confidence, and familiarity with diverse art techniques and materials.

About
An innovative class that uses mixed media as a dynamic tool to guide children on a transformative journey of self-discovery, creative thinking, and problem solving. Children explore diverse age-appropriate techniques including layering collage, assemblage, papier-mâché, printmaking, stenciling, texturing, resist techniques, image transfer, and digital components. A wide range of mediums are used including textiles, plastic, wood, clay, tape, paper, fabric, paint, ink, metal, glitter, found objects, photographs, and natural materials.
