What a class looks like

Each day begins with a NTUA masterclass for children (pottery, ink painting, watercolour, sketching, or collaborative mixed-media work) while parents enjoy a curated art walk or cultural experience. Afternoons may continue with studio work or a shared parent-child art activity and elegant lunch. The programme concludes with a student exhibition and celebration.

Right for your child?

Creative children aged 6–14 who are interested in hands-on art making and cultural exploration. Parents must accompany and will have their own curated itinerary.

Curriculum & Progression

Themed units (rotating)

A rotating themed curriculum delivered by NTUA faculty and Artlas Artistry. Days alternate between Eastern art traditions (pottery, ink calligraphy), Western techniques (watercolour, plein-air sketching), and collaborative curatorial practice, culminating in a student-led exhibition.

Learning Outcomes

Hands-on experience with pottery, ink painting, watercolour and sketching; understanding of curatorial practice; teamwork through large-scale collaborative art; cultural appreciation of Taipei’s art scene.

About

A 4-day parent-accompanied art camp in Taipei in partnership with the National Taiwan University of Arts. Children explore Eastern art (pottery and ink painting), Western art (watercolour and sketching), mixed media (large-scale collaborative painting), and curatorial practice, culminating in a final exhibition. Parents enjoy private art walks, gallery visits, tea culture experiences, and fine dining while their children study under master instructors.

Before your first class

Book flights and accommodation separately — these are not included. Arrive in Taipei the day before the camp starts. Bring comfortable walking shoes for gallery visits and a change of clothes for art activities.
